UNIS INSPECTIONS provides independent on-hire and off-hire bunker surveys in Constanta, Romania, for shipowners and charterers. We determine the quantities of bunkers remaining on board and document the findings in survey reports and delivery or redelivery certificates.

SERVICE INCLUDES

Measurements of all bunker tanks, including storage tanks, service tanks, settling tanks, and overflow tanks
Taking soundings or ullages, depending on tank content, and taking gauge readings where applicable
Measurement of fuel temperature in each measured tank
Verification that the vessel trim tank calibration tables are Class-approved
Application of temperature corrections
Calculation of Remaining On Board (ROB) quantities for each declared grade
On-Hire. Quantities of bunkers are recalculated back to the time and place of delivery
Off-Hire. Quantities of bunkers are recalculated to the expected forthcoming time and place of re-delivery
Preparation of bunker survey reports and certificates
